Finished bathroom with freestanding tub, shower glass and tile walls

Bathroom remodeler for the whole room

Bathroom remodeling covers the whole room. Renan does the tile, waterproofing and prep. That includes tub-to-shower conversions, shower pan replacement, custom tile showers and tub surrounds, with niches and benches built in.

Flooring contractor for tile floors and the prep under them

Tile flooring covers new tile floors, heated tile floors and the preparation under them. Tile only sits as flat as the surface below, so uneven floors get self-leveling compound and Schluter DITRA goes between the subfloor and the tile.

Waterproofing service for tile showers

Waterproofing protects a shower from water that gets past the tile. Tile and grout are not waterproof on their own, so a membrane such as Schluter KERDI goes on the walls and floor before any tile is set. Every shower pan is water-tested before tile goes in.

How It Works

Three Simple Steps to Your New Tile.

  1. Send your project

Describe the room and add photos through the form, or call. Photos give Renan a first look at the job.

  2. Renan follows up

He talks through the project and your photos with you. When needed, he visits to confirm measurements, conditions and scope.

  3. Get your start date

The start date and schedule are confirmed for your project. Shower prep and tile usually take 4 to 6 working days.

About SIG Tile

SIG Tile is Renan's company. When you send an estimate request, Renan is the one who reads it, and he's the one who sets your tile.

There's no salesperson or project manager in between. Questions about layout, materials or what turns up behind the old tile go straight to the person doing the work.

On a full bathroom remodel, Renan runs the job from demolition to the last tile, so you keep one phone number for the whole project.

Frequently asked questions

Are estimates free?

Yes. Send the room, rough size and a few photos through the form, and Renan usually responds within 1 business day.

Do you handle plumbing or electrical work?

Yes, as part of a bathroom remodel. Renan coordinates partner contractors for plumbing and electrical and does the tile work.

Can I buy my own tile?

Yes. SIG Tile doesn't mark up tile you buy directly. You pay for installation and, depending on the quote, prep, setting and waterproofing materials.

Is the work under warranty?

SIG Tile warrants its installation workmanship for one year from substantial completion. Coverage and exclusions are spelled out in the agreement, and manufacturer warranties follow their own terms.

Can you build a curbless shower in my bathroom?

Often, yes. A curbless or low-profile shower needs the floor structure to allow the drop for the shower floor, so Renan checks that first.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. SIG Tile is licensed and insured, NJ HIC Reg. #13VH13913100, and Renan has been tiling professionally since 2011.

What areas do you cover?

SIG Tile is based in Howell and serves Monmouth County plus part of Ocean County. Other nearby towns may be possible depending on the project.
